Tribe One After-School Program

The Tribe One After-School Program provides a safe and structured place for elementary school students to come during after-school hours. The goal of the program is to engage “at-risk” minority youth in academics, art, the environment, and physical, mental, and spiritual health. In addition to receiving tutoring in reading and math, participants in the Tribe One After-School Program explore their creativity through art and dance workshops, learn about health, nutrition, and cooking, and engage with the environment through Tribe One’s Urban Garden. The after-school program serves children in grades 1 through 5.

November 22nd Tribe One's After School Program hosted it's first annual Thanksgiving feast. Students were asked to bring in family favorite recipes to make. Students then got to prepare their family dish, and we all got to enjoy the meal with friends and family.
